The last few weekends I have been looking at summer camps to send my daughter to and all kinds of memories about Lapidus and summers past have resurfaced. My parents sent me to sleep away camp when we were still at Lapidus and I remember hating it. The reason was Lapidus. I just wanted to be with all my summer friends there. I thought my parents just wanted to get rid of me because how could they take me away from all my special friends I only see during the summer. When looking at camps these couple of weeks I was looking for that spcial director the one we all said Hi, Hi to in the morning. This weekend we are going to my parents who are still in the mountains. We will surely go to see Lapidus as we do every year. Gary Andrew is in New York and I believe will be in California in August.
