Spending our summers in Lapidus in 1970, 1971 and 1972 were outrageous. The friends, the mah jongg, the track, the camp for Jeffrey and the mother's helper and babysitters for Michael. The free time (which sometimes got me in trouble) and the atmosphere were wonderful. I am 5 minutes from Lapidus every summer in Camp Chipinaw and never pass the blinking light without remembering those fantastic summers.
