Hi everyone!! Do you remember any one of us or all of us? Like you I also have excellent memories of our years at Lapidus. Some of our times there still make up the greatest family discussions. This month my brother Scott and I visited our parents in Loch Sheldrake and of course we ate at El Monoco and Candy Cone, we also stood and stared at the entrance columns we so fondly remembered as children. Some of my favorite memories are Cany Cone, the moms running for Mrs. Kleins linens in the parking lot, Chow Chow Cup, Smitty and Red the handymen, Pearl singing Happy Birthday on the PA system as only Pearl could, Mary looking for the toilet plunger on the PA, Leon on his golf cart, rainy days in the camphouse making lanyard (did I spell that right?) and plaster molds, trying to remember all the Rogers names; here goes... Rusty, Kathy, Billy, Bobby, Eileen, Maureen, Jimmy, Richard, Kevin, Margaret and I can't remember any more, how about you?, Lefty's, $2.00 concerts at the track, playing Newcomb with Smallwood, the colored knockers my parents would bring home from the Saturday night Hotel shows and of course all the wonderful childhood friendships. I look forward to hearing from you... Roslyn.
